Summertime shock can never be defeated. What city do you know hosts a big old block party for everybody to come to? Sundays on State is back again this year on Sunday, June 16th and Sunday, July 14th. For these two Sundays, they shut down State all the way from Lake to Adams. This is where all the cultures of Chicago come to meet. From the classics Harold's Chicken, to house music and different DJs, to interpretive art dancing, to Dutch to everything. It will be on State Street these two Sundays and over 90% of the vendors are small underrepresented business throughout the Chicago area. It is so refreshing just to see everyone have a good time and the best thing about it is that it is free. Shout out to Nuts2Go because those nuts were delicious.
