@hungere-for-diy's Review of Prologue Coffee & Tea - Walnut Creek, CA

Have you been to Prologue Coffee and Tea and Walnut Cricket? I'm always on the lookout for good coffee and this place was so charming. I thought the name of this cafe was so perfect since they are connected to a library. I got their matcha dalgona and this was amazing. The bitterness from the matcha and the sweet topping balanced each other out quite nicely. The hubby got their charcoal rose latte. There's no added sugar to this drink but it was absolutely delicious. I kept stealing sips of it. We also shared a banh mi. The bread on this was so good. I could not get over it. And it comes with this secret butter, which was so scrumptious. I mean, butter on anything is really good, but secret butter just elevates everything to a whole new level. I got their honey almond banana toast. It came with a little side salad, so I felt like I was getting some healthy greens in. The toast had a perfect balance of saltiness from the almond butter, but sweetness from the bananas and honey. It was so yummy. I would definitely get it again. And the last thing we got was this Ferrero Rocher chocolate mousse. This was so rich and decadent. Make sure to check this place out. They even had some cute swag available.
