This spot was a staple of my college days and anybody from the south side of Chicago knows Maury's Deli. Located in the Hyde Park neighborhood, I've always ordered their signature corned beef sandwich with everything on it. onions. Don't forget my hot peppers and a tropical punch mistake. But this time, I let the guys at Maury's choose for me. They told me to try their triple-decker number one, number three, and number five. Number one is the corned beef pastrami and Swiss, which puts you in the same feel of their signature corned beef salad. The number three is a turkey breast pastrami, Swiss, and Maury's special dressing. That special dressing makes the first bite. I like this one. like an instant flavor bomb and when i thought it could not get any better than that one the number five turkey breast bacon swiss coleslaw and special dressing all i'm gonna say is i want another one like real bad and whose grandmother is making the potato salad and that's coming from a person who does not even really like potato salad and if you can't make it over to high park they just opened a new location in the uic medical district i highly suggest you go check them out and order that number five triple decker sandwich and a cold drink 10 out of 10.
