Okay, my favorite neighborhood in Vancouver and my favorite food in quite possibly the world? Yeah, sign me up. Veda's jamun lemonade was so fun, so tangy, refreshing, perfect for the summer. The prawn cakes were really interesting. It wasn't too fishy. It was almost like a chilla. It gave a bit of like besan flower vibes. They said we absolutely had to try the kima dosa. So, I mean, of course, who am I to say no? The flavor profile of the kima is different than what I normally would make at home, but that's what made it so much more special. And what I really found interesting was that the coconut and tomato chutneys, they were very fresh, like it's definitely not packaged, it's tart and light and refreshing instead of feeling like overproduced. And of course, shout out to Ale Coffee for providing the best beans for their iced filter coffee. They'll even give you extra jaggery on the side if you want it sweeter.
